We invite everyone interested in digital security to join our workshop, which will take place on September 12, 2024, from 14:00 to 18:00 in Kyiv. The event will be held in a hybrid format: both offline and online.

Target Audience: Youth aged 18-24, representatives of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and charitable foundations (CFs), as well as organizations working with youth, internally displaced persons (IDPs), people with disabilities, ethnic minorities, and other vulnerable groups.

Project Goal: To provide participants with practical knowledge and skills for effective protection against cyber threats and to raise awareness of current challenges in cyberspace. The project also aims to ensure reliable protection of personal data during the ongoing martial law.

Event Overview: The workshop will include interactive lectures, practical case studies, and a roundtable discussion where participants can address challenges and solutions in the field of cybersecurity. Participants will gain valuable tools to protect their digital resources and the opportunity to exchange experiences with experts.

Event Program:

• Introduction: Overview of current threats in cyberspace
• Practical cases: Successful examples of counteracting cyber threats
• Discussion: Roundtable among NGOs and CFs
• Conclusions and recommendations: Applying the acquired knowledge in future work

Expected Outcomes:

• Enhanced knowledge and skills in the field of cybersecurity

• Design and Promotion: We are looking for creative designers and marketers to develop visual materials, advertising campaigns, and create the hackathon brand. Your work will help us attract attention to the event and make it recognizable.
• Landing Page Development: Talented web developers are needed to create a one-page site for the hackathon, which will inform about the event, accept participant registrations, and provide all necessary information.
• Event Management: We need organizers to assist in planning and coordinating the hackathon, ensuring participant comfort, and resolving all logistical issues during the event.
• Catering: We are looking for responsible individuals or companies who can organize catering for participants, providing them with delicious and nutritious meals throughout the hackathon.

On the first day of summer, June 1st, in Kyiv, those interested in practical recommendations, trends, and cybersecurity tips had the opportunity to attend an informative event—a casual discussion about the challenges of protecting information and personal data for non-governmental organizations (NGOs).

The event was organized by the NGO "eADVISE" with the support of AM Integrator Group and Nova Poshta in the format of a roundtable. The goal of the meeting was to equip NGOs with the necessary knowledge and skills to protect their digital resources, minimize knowledge gaps in cybersecurity, ensure safe online communication, and safeguard personal data during wartime.

Speakers Igor Afonin, the leader of the cybersecurity division at NGO "eADVISE," and Olena Enzel, a consultant at AM Integrator Group, conducted the roundtable in a format that involved discussing real cases and constant interaction with the participants. Attendees received answers to their pressing questions, shared their experiences, and learned practices from well-known developers in this field. A quiz was held to reinforce the knowledge gained, and the first three winners received prizes from AM Integrator Group, making the Saturday morning even more positive.

This event was the concluding stage of the informational and educational campaign on digital security for NGOs, "Digital Security for NGOs," conducted by NGO "eADVISE" since January of this year. The campaign included three webinars on cyber hygiene, which consistently attracted a significant number of listeners, confirming the relevance and demand for awareness events on cybersecurity for NGOs. Information bulletins and consultations on practical situations were also provided.

Not bidding farewell to those seeking advice on cyber hygiene and establishing cybersecurity in NGOs, NGO "eADVISE" extends heartfelt thanks to all participants and partners for their active participation and support of the event.

We are happy to announce that our team together with the National Technical University of Ukraine "Dniprovska Polytechnic" has started pilot testing of the "SmartStudy" chatbot in the spring semester of the 2023-2024 academic year (PM - Bohdan Skurativskyi).

This project defines a new format in the educational process and provides an opportunity for students and teachers to use alternative technologies in the learning process.
